The Remodeling Process
Step 1
A potential client calls and wants to speak to someone because he or she is interested in a bathroom or kitchen remodel, basement remodel or even additions.
Step 2
One of our designers speaks to him or her on the phone and encourages him or her to come into the showroom to meet, and learn about the products we sell
Step 3
The customer comes to showroom and is introduced to their designer. The customer is educated on some of the main products to be used in his or hers remodel. The designer sets an appointment up with the customer to come out to the home and measure for the designing process. This is a free consultation.
Step 4
The designer comes out to the customer's home. The customer and designer discuss what is wanted to be done to the remodeling project. After some ideas are planned out, the designer measures the room.
Step 5
The designer draws up plans on the computer, and prices out the remodeling project. There may be a few consultations with the client for design inquiries. A formal proposal is submitted to the client within 1-2 weeks. The proposal includes everything involved with the remodel project. The prices included in the estimate are: electrical, drywall repair, plumbing, cabinets, tile, countertops, fixtures, labor, materials, and permits needed.
Step 6
The designer meets with the client and discusses options in the proposal. At this time the customer will select the style of cabinets, colors, finishes, wood species, countertops colors, fixtures, doors, windows, or any other selections as needed. The proposal is revised to reflect the changes.
Step 7
The client accepts the proposal with changes and deposit is made by the client. The job is scheduled 8-10 weeks out from the date the client has accepted the proposal. Some smaller jobs can be scheduled sooner.
